I discovered my passion for training and development after I held many positions with various companies that did not provide formal, or next to no training for their employees. I was frustrated that they did not feel the need to invest in me as a young professional. I then discovered that “Training and Development Specialist” was an actual career path! I immediately enrolled into the University of Memphis’ Graduate Program for professional studies, and discovered that, because I am a creative person, I loved instructional design the most.
