Warren Electric | Building a Foundational Internal Resource from Scratch

Overview
While at Warren Electric, I developed a 50-page employee handbook where no formal handbook had previously existed. This project created a centralized internal resource to help establish clearer expectations, provide employees with essential workplace information, and give the company a more structured foundation for communication and consistency.

The Challenge
Before this project, Warren Electric did not have an official employee handbook in place. Without a centralized reference document, important information about workplace expectations, policies, and employee guidance was less standardized and more difficult to communicate consistently.

This created a gap in organizational clarity and made it harder to ensure employees had a reliable resource to reference for essential information. It also limited the company’s ability to present policies and expectations in a clear, professional, and organized format.

My Approach
I led the development of a comprehensive employee handbook from the ground up, organizing critical information into a structured, readable, and professional document. The goal was to create a practical resource that employees could use to better understand company expectations, workplace policies, and general procedures.

In developing the handbook, I focused on clarity, usability, and organization so the final resource would not just exist, but serve as a meaningful internal communication tool.
